Formulas Used
  • Basic = CTC × Basic%
  • HRA = Basic × 50% (metro) or 40% (non-metro)
  • Special Allowance = Gross − Basic − HRA
  • Employee PF = 12% of Basic (capped at ₹1,800/month by default)
  • Standard Deduction = ₹75,000 (new) or ₹50,000 (old)
  • Old Regime Deductions = 80C + 80D + HRA exemption + Employee PF
  • In-Hand = Gross − Employee PF − Professional Tax − Income Tax
